Professor Cary Cooper CBE

Robertson Cooper.

Cary is a Director and founder of Robertson Cooper Ltd, Professor of Organisational Psychology and Health and Pro Vice Chancellor at Lancaster University.

He is recognised as a world-leading expert on stress and is the media’s first choice for comment on workplace issues. He is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, The Royal Society of Arts, The Royal Society of Medicine, The Royal Society of Health.  He is also the President of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, the International Stress Management Association (ISMA), Editor-in-Chief of the Blackwell Encyclopedia of Management, Chair of the Academy of Social Sciences and the author/editor of over 100 books.

Cary was also awarded the Lifetime Practitioner Award from the British Psychology Society in recognition of his services to the profession and has most recently been appointed Chair of the Global Agenda Council for Chronic Disease and Well-Being for the World Economic Forum.
